Some Banging Reviews

While it hasn’t been very long since my book released, it certainly feels like I am stuck in two gears: go go go and oh my God why aren’t you doing ANYTHING. Thankfully, His Ragged Company has received some glowing features on some other websites, and I’d be remiss not to link them here if you’re so inclined to read them!

In other news, the follow-up to His Ragged Company is coming along splendidly, though tonally, it’s quite a different beast. Cover artist Sean Martin has already completed the cover panel, so when the thing is actually finished, it’ll be one step ahead of its predecessor!

In the next few weeks, I’ll have some spectacular news to share on a new way to read this dang ol’ cowboys-and-cosmic-entities book I’ve put out in the world.

Don’t Make It Weird Podcast - Guest Appearance

If you haven’t already gotten the chance, I was recently a guest on the Don’t Make It Weird Podcast, a writing and comedy podcast with some great personality! I read raunchy fiction, created a song to honor my appearance, and generally acted like a fool. You can check out the direct link:

Upcoming Features and Events

Just over a month ago, I released His Ragged Company: A Testimony of Elias Faust to what I discovered was a good bit of anticipation for a self-published work, and couldn’t have been happier with its reception. The novel, much to my surprise (and absolute pleasure), has gotten some great reviews, and it satisfies me to know that something I created can be held in a hand, passed along to friends, or—if it suits you—violently thrown into a trash can.

(Oh God, please don’t. Give it to someone.)

In support of the novel, I’m happy to be making a few appearances online:

  • On David Dixon’s blog (http://www.daviddixonwrites.com), I had the joy of being interviewed about His Ragged Company and some other great topics, so if you get a chance, please check it out! David’s books—The Damsel and the to-be-released Six-Gun Shuffle—might be right up your alley, too, and are available through DARK BREW PRESS. Follow him on Twitter (@dixondaver) if you don’t already. David’s a great interviewer, a kind fellow, and shares a lot of my influences. David, I look forward to sharing a beer!

  • On August 9th, my feature with Don’t Make It Weird Podcast premieres, and I got to share a few great hours with Dan (@Danqwritesthing), Dina (@DinasaurusD), and Producer Sean (@DMIWPodcast) talking about my book, laughing our asses off, and reading some “hot” erotica. Make sure to check out “Episode 16: The One with Rance D. Denton” when it airs next week, and if you don’t already, follow them for their writing and podcast adventures.

I’m fortunate enough to have some other great opportunities on the horizon that I can’t quite talk about yet, but you’ll hear about them soon enough.

Until we speak again, keep writing and keep kicking ass.
